General Likes: Missing scene fic, pre- or post-canon fic, canon-divergent AUs (especially for comic books where canon is a mess anyway), character studies, introspective fic—basically anything that gives more depth to these characters or expands on canon in a thoughtful way. I love exploring tension, conflict, and angsty interpersonal dynamics, and I'm fine with open endings or not having these conflicts completely resolved. I love femslash and slash, so feel free to explore shippy undertones if that speaks to you; I love UST and first time fic especially, and PWPs are welcome. I'm a fan of non-linear and non-conventional narrative styles so if you feel like getting experimental, I'm here for it!
Smut Likes: Orgasm denial/desperation, breathplay, blindfolds, toys, somnophilia/drugged sex, semi-public sex (alleys, rooftops), restraints, power dynamics, praise kink, biting/marking, exhibitionism/voyeurism, knifeplay, crying due to overstimulation, wax play, sex pollen, scar worship, hatesex, comfort sex. Please note that these are all completely optional; if you already have a story in mind that fits in with my general likes and avoids my DNWs, then go for it! However I'm including a few prompts below as I know some writers prefer to have a something more to go off.
DCU (Comics)
Apollo/Midnighter: I love how deeply these two care for each other. I don't think there's a scenario you could write for them that I wouldn't enjoy: first time fic, post-breakup fic, mission fic, slice of life fic. I love hurt/comfort tropes with these two, with one of them putting their life on the line for the other. Basically, anything that shows the strength of their bond will always hit the mark for me. I'm only really familiar with the Orlando run so anything that draws from that would be amazing.
Barbara Gordon/Kate Kane: Babs and Kate are cut from the same cloth, they're both so sharp and self-assured, and I would love to read a story about how they got together as a couple and/or how they started working together in the field. I really like the idea of Kate joining the Birds of Prey and learning how to work in a team lead by Oracle. Or, if you wanted to go with a more recent continuity, a Batwoman/Batgirl dynamic would be really interesting.
Cassandra Cain & Jason Todd: Ever since I read Death in the Family, I haven't been able to shake the idea of "what if Lady Shiva was Jason's mother? What if Cass and Jason are siblings?" A canon-divergent AU that explored this would be fantastic. Or, what would have happened if Jason had been around during No Man's Land and seen a new Bat? Or if Cass had been more present during the Under the Red Hood arc? Alternatively, a Rebirth-era fic that explored Cass and Jason's relationship as outsiders in the Batfam would also be excellent.
Kate Kane/Renee Montoya: This is another pairing that I adore across all continuities and at any stage of their relationship, and I absolutely love their dynamic. First time, established relationship, breaking up and getting back together—wherever they're at in their relationship, I'm here for it. Any fic that involves external events putting stress and strain on their relationship and causing conflict between them is always going to be a winner for me, particularly if it involves some sort of "betray her to save her" aspect and one being overprotective to the other's detriment.
Kate Kane/Safiyah Sohail: I loved the Batwoman (2017) run so much, and there is precious little fic that explores their relationship. I love that Kate met Safiyah at a point in her life where she was so lost and directionless, and how Safiyah became her entire world. I adore Safiyah because frankly, she terrifies me, and I love that there's a darkness lurking underneath the surface that Kate herself doesn't realise until it's too late. For this canon I'm more than happy for you to take it as dark as you'd like, leaning into the themes of jealousy, possessiveness and revenge (see below for my thoughts on Tahani).
Safiyah Sohail/Tahani This prompt ties into the above! Tahani is a force to be reckoned with, and I love that she's not willing to let go of Safiyah without a fight. Kate's presence adds so much tension to The Desert Rose, and I would love to see how this impacts on their relationship. Tahani and Safiyah are both violent women, and I would love to see these two come to blows; verbally, physically, sexually—wherever it takes you. I'm fine with Safiyah/Kate and Safiyah/Tahani co-existing so feel free to mix and match this prompt with the above.
Stephanie Brown & Jason Todd: Steph and Jason are both two kids with a whole lotta grit, and I think a lot of that comes from their upbringing. It's something I love about them individually, but together? They could be unstoppable. I know that canon doesn't really allow for this sort of team-up, but feel free to pick and choose bits of canon that you like, or just go canon-divergent. I'd love an AU where Jason and Steph met when Jason was living on the streets and they banded together. Or alternatively post-UTRH bonding over being in the Dead Robins Club (I for one, have not forgotten War Games). Or even just fighting alongside each other today (New Earth, Prime Earth, Rebirth? Robin, Spoiler, Batgirl? I'm not fussed, comics canon is elastic, anyway).
Respire | Breathe (2014)
Charlie/Sarah: This film was so subtly sinister, and the role of Sarah was played superbly. I loved how she had a seductive quality that drew people to her like a moth to a flame, but when she was done with them, her cold indifference was absolutely brutal. I would love to see more of her toying with Charlie, not even for any particular gain, but just because she enjoys it. On a shippy note, there were so many moments in this film where the sexual tension between Charlie and Sarah was almost palpable, and I would love any kind of smut with these two, especially if Sarah's mean about it (e.g. bossing Charlie around, teasing her for being a virgin). I'd also be interested in Sarah spending time with other girls to make Charlie jealous, and this could be in a platonic or a romantic way. I'm interested in receiving French fic for this canon, but English fic is welcome too.
Star Trek: Alternate Original Series (Movies)
Ayel/Nero: The very first time I watched this movie I was struck by how devoted Ayel is to his Captain and his crew. I'm really into that sort of dynamic and would love something exploring how far Ayel would go for Nero. I would be interested in a glimpse into life aboard the Narada, either during canon or pre-canon, where we see the dynamics of these two within the context of working with the crew. World-building regarding Romulan culture (those tattoos!!) and the Star Trek universe is always appreciated. This is a pairing where I could definitely be into knifeplay/scarification/tattoo kink if that's something you're interested in exploring.
Gaila/Nyota Uhura: I'm really into the idea of these two rooming together at the academy. Uhura is undoubtedly well-educated in alien customs, but how does that prepare you for actually having an Orion roommate? Especially one that has little understanding of human social norms? I love the thought of Uhura who's usually so level-headed getting flustered by her incredibly hot roommate who seems to think that clothing's optional. Bonus points if Gaila knew exactly what she was doing the whole time, and this was basically just a seduction technique.
Hikaru Sulu/James T. Kirk: Team gold! I loved these two right from the second that Kirk threw himself off the drill to save Sulu. I would love to see how each of them brings out the other's competitive streak, either at the academy or even on the Enterprise. Friends with benefits works great for these two, but I could also be into a no-strings-attached deal that grows into something more. Maybe it wasn't until they saw the other in danger that they both realised the depths of their feelings? These two are pretty much certified geniuses, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were really that boneheaded.
James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy: I don't think there's a single scenario for this paring that I wouldn't enjoy. Academy fic? Enterprise slice of life? Stranded on an alien planet? Whatever it is, I'm here for it. Their dynamic is one of my all-time favourites so any scenario where Bones finds Jim exasperating but helplessly endearing is always going to be a winner in my book. With that said, I do have a particular fondness for UST and first time fic, but also reverse-UST where they're friends with benefits who catch feelings. Bonus points for denial and pining.
