I'm ictus on AO3, and I'm so unbelievably excited for this promptfest. Thank you for considering writing for me! All of my requests are for fic.

General Likes: Missing scene fic, pre- or post-canon fic, canon-divergent AUs (especially for comic books where canon is a mess anyway), character studies, introspective fic—basically anything that gives more depth to these characters or expands on canon in a thoughtful way. I love exploring tension, conflict, and angsty interpersonal dynamics, and I'm fine with open endings or not having these conflicts completely resolved. I love femslash and slash, so feel free to explore shippy undertones if that speaks to you; I love UST and first time fic especially, and PWPs are welcome. I'm a fan of non-linear and non-conventional narrative styles so if you feel like getting experimental, I'm here for it!

The DC Multiverse is vast and complex, and I'm excited to go wherever you might take me. Please feel free to canon blend as you like, and go canon divergent wherever you please. I've prompted a lot of porn here, but feel free to fade to black if smut isn't in your wheelhouse. I've given a few ship examples, but these are in no way exhaustive, so please don't feel restricted by them!

Opt-ins: canon multiverses (eg. Earth-3, Earth-51, etc.) for Kate and Jason. Bombshells for Kate, Arkhamverse and White Knight 'verse for Jason. I'm also opting into Under The Red Hood (2010) for Jason if you've never read comics and want to write based on the film.


Jason Todd:

I love that Jason is headstrong, whip-smart, and has an infinite amount of Issues™. I love that he has a chip on his shoulder, that he will probably never get over the fact that He Died That One Time, and that his anger issues manifest as outright violence. I also love his commitment to his own particular brand of justice, and I would like to see him stick to his principles regardless of who you ship him with, even if it means him keeping his finger off the trigger for their benefit.

Possible dynamics:

• Just dudes being bros: I loved it when Jason worked together with characters like Kyle Rayner and Roy Harper, and I really enjoyed the sort of relationship they developed (mostly bonding over being outcasts and failed sidekicks, but there was some affection there too). For these sorts of relationships, I love the classic friends to lovers and mutual pining dynamics, but also the friends with benefits who catch feelings and panic vibe.


• Keeping it in the family: I like Jason's relationship with the Batfam best when it's fraught. I'm not saying they need to be literally at each other's throats (although this is also good), but I want it to be clear that there's some bad blood between them and Jason still feels like an outcast. This is really obvious in Pre-flashpoint comics, but here's a good example from Rebirth to give you an idea of what I mean. These dynamics are so layered that they're ripe for the sort of emotionally complex, porn with feelings encounters, but I absolutely wouldn't say no to fighting leads to fucking or straight-up hatesex.


• Anti-hero4Hero: There's so much potential here in the vast world of superheroes, and I'm excited to see what you come up with (I believe there was some chatter of Carter Hall? :D). I imagine Jason would have grown up admiring the Justice League, and I would love to see how differently he feels now that he's older and more cynical. Maybe there's a new hero operating out of Gotham, or Jason gets roped into a JL mission. There are so many places you can go with this: patching someone up after a mission, steamy hookups in the Watchtower locker room, adrenaline-fuelled post-mission sex—all of these fit the bill for me.


• Anti-hero4Anti-hero: God I love those morally grey types. I'm thinking characters who do bad things for good reasons, like Midnighter, or even non-conventional heroes, like John Constantine. Slade Wilson could also fit the bill depending on continuity, and I'm sure there are others too. I would love to see how Jason plays off these types of characters. Maybe he tells himself he could never sink as low as them, or maybe they spur each other on and work together. Taking down criminals as foreplay? Sounds like the perfect date to me.


• (Anti-)hero4Villain: There is an entire Rogues Gallery out there to play with, not to mention all the JL villains too. Jason has the potential to go undercover and form unlikely partnerships with his Red Hood persona like he did with Black Mask in Rebirth, but he's also aligned with the Bats and is likely to attract a lot of enemies for that alone. I'd be excited to see where you go with this sort of dynamic, provided you steer clear of my noncon DNW.

Kate Kane:

I love that Kate is incredibly sharp and self-assured, and while I love her for all of her strengths, I also love her for her vulnerabilities too. Regardless of who you ship her with, I would love someone who either draws out or plays on her vulnerabilities in some way. On the other hand, Kate has always owned her sexuality, and I would love to see that element present in whichever relationship you put her in.

Possible Dynamics:

• It's canon, baby! I love all of Kate's canon love interests over the years, and despite canon doing a great job to portray them, I still want more. I would love a deeper look into Kate's relationship with any of these women by way of missing scene fic, canon divergence—anything that goes beyond what we seen in canon.


• Birds of Prey: I have a special fondness for the Birds of Prey ladies, and would happily see Kate with any one of them. I love the idea of them working together, and some of the inherent antagonism that is present in their relationships (looking at you, Huntress). Maybe there's some rivalry at first, because Kate feels that the BOP is infringing on her terf? Or maybe Kate's indignant she was overlooked? Friends to lovers, friends with benefits, enemies to lovers, even? I could see all of that working here.


• Mentor/Protegee: This dynamic is my kryptonite, I absolutely cannot get enough of it. I love that it lends itself so well to sparring leads to fucking, post-training locker room sex, and all the powerplay that comes with blurring the lines of authority. This could work well with Kate mentoring Steph or Cass if you wanted to keep it local, but there are plenty of Titans that could use a mentor. Alternatively, if you want to have Kate be the protegee, well. She had to learn all that karate somehow. Shado or Lady Shiva are great choices here, but I'm sure there are more.


• Hero4Hero: Kate's never had a whole lot to do with the JL, which is a shame because there are so many amazing female characters to ship her with. Feel free to take your fave and run with it. I'd love to see Kate initially hesitant and distrustful, but going along with it because Bruce has vouched for them. There are so many places you can go with this: patching someone up after a mission, steamy hookups in the Watchtower locker room, adrenaline-fuelled post-mission sex—all of these fit the bill for me.


• Hero4Villain: There are so many great options here! I'm a huge fan of Kate/Tahani from Rebirth, but if you wanted to stay closer to home, the Gotham City Sirens are a great option here. Being a Bat means attracting a lot of enemies, and being affiliated with the JL means even more still. I'd be excited to see where you go with this sort of dynamic, provided you steer clear of my noncon DNW.


• It's complicated... Not that I don't believe Kate's capable of making a mess of things all by herself, but there are some relationships that are messy by nature that I would love to see. Imagine Kate/Talia and how that would affect the Batfam? Or what if Kate hooked up with Selina the night she left Bruce at the altar? I'm up for incest, so Kate/Beth is also on the cards. Whatever you decide to go with here, please make it messy!
